Recognizing Maine’s Most Substantive Entertainment Artists is Our Mission

Summary: Maine Music Award’s Hall of Fame

“The venerable Maine Music Award’s Hall of Fame Show is a significant newsworthy event that encompasses thousands of the State’s finest entertainers and industry personnel. The event’s high appeal attracts statewide and national media attention among devout fans. Most importantly we are supporting the arts & entertainment industry of Maine. Moreover, recognizing and honoring deserving talent! That’s what its all about.

This year’s show line-up features several of the most treasured music artists/entertainers with strong Maine roots and associations with the state that have made an indelible mark in the entertainment world here, and beyond. It’s time to recognize and celebrate their works in a big way. Therefore, we began alongside major media-in-motion to capture the exciting historic moments that will provide a benchmark for now and future generations. We wholeheartedly hope you have the opportunity to join us. As we celebrate in joyful harmony.”

“Maine has an incredibly skilled, stylistically diverse, long-standing music scene, said Bob Thompson, Manager/Creative Director of Camden’s Hearstudios and former guitarist with Devonsquare, among other Maine artists. There are certain artists from various periods in every genre whose creative works define the absolute highest standards of excellence and passion that are the hallmarks of the Maine music experience.
“Having been a very active creative and business participant in this wonderful scene since the late 1970s, as session and performing guitarist, music arranger, college instructor, and studio manager, I have witnessed the evolution first-hand. The Maine Music Awards Hall of Fame Show brings these artists together into the much-deserved spotlight, honors them for their significant achievements and ongoing deep commitment to the musical arts in Maine, and gives the audience a chance to hear a night of wonderfully diverse music from their favorite artists,Thompson said.
